Hamstrings & Press Handstand

For our drill today, we will be stretching our hamstrings, while keeping them under a bit of tension. Most everyone I know has some level of tightness in their hamstrings, which can be due to both activity (running, hiking, cycling, etc.), which means they are often strong and tight, or inactivity (too much sitting) making this group often weak and tight. Pressing into handstand requires the hamstrings to be quite mobile so that we can forward fold more easily. But don’t forget to strengthen your hammies, and please be mindful of proximal hamstring over-stretching.
