Postural Fitness Intro
The intended goal of this program is to get you moving by using your breath. This is different than our typical yoga practices.
We will be using our breath to expand our ribcage - understanding that our diaphragm must fully contract and relax in order to transfer pressure up and down in our torso. This will allow us to create more space in compressed areas of our bodies. We will help these areas get unstuck gently by stretching our soft tissue from the inside out.
Along with the functional mobility tutorial videos, you can expect a short (10-15 minute) Postural Fitness video each week. Try to make it a goal to do this video before another workout - and repeat it at least once in the week.
This is meant for everyone! The workouts are short and low-level. As we progress, I’ll layer in harder movements that will still be accessible to all.
