Online and In-Person Workshops

 

Yoga is for EVERY BODY! This class is meant to help you better understand your mobility. We will explore the directions of movement of our hips and shoulders, and include functional movement in a simple yoga flow. No arm balances or advanced poses, but that doesn’t mean it will be easy because you’ll definitely feel the work. This is a free all-levels class and will be offered on Zoom via my online platform.

Arm Balance Series - hosted at Drift Yoga & Juice Bar

Join Alison for a three-part workshop series intended to strengthen your body and advance your arm balance practice. The series will offer drills that target our core, arms and shoulders, while also increasing overall mobility and flexibility. The first workshop will focus on plank variations, chaturanga and bakasana (crow pose). In the second workshop, we’ll turn our attention to deep twists as we work toward parsvabakasana (side crow pose), and play with powerful transitions. In the final installment of the series, we’ll advance our practice with two more arm balances, Eka Pada Koundinyasana I and II (flying splits poses).

Dates: Sunday, October 15, 22, and 29 (the workshops can be taken as series, or as standalone sessions)

Time: 11:30am-12:30pm

All workshops will include physical practice and opportunities for discussion.
